"This strange electronic opus furiously in the early 70s, comes from the famous collection "Prospective 21st Century" from Philips. Corticalart The (literally: the art of the cortex) is a device designed and developed by the researcher and musician Roger Lafosse, a pioneer of cultural action pre- custody, founder, director and host of the turbulent Sigma festival in Bordeaux. Corticalart The compound is a complex system designed to translate electrical brain waves into electronic sounds. The electrode system similar to that used in electro-encephalogram is set directly in contact with the scalp of Peter Henry. These electrodes pick up then three kinds of signals reflecting electrical activity characteristic of some areas of the cerebral cortex.
